　　央视网：6月2日凌晨，一名持枪男子蒙面进入菲律宾首都马尼拉云顶世界赌场酒店连开数枪并纵火焚烧赌桌。枪手后来被发现在一间酒店客房内纵火身亡。包括死亡的枪手在内，这起袭击事件已造成37人死亡。至少有54人医院治疗。

　　事发后，中国驻菲律宾大使馆迅速启动应急机制，与菲警方和涉事酒店方面保持密切联系，核实了解情况。据最新核实，1名中国大陆居民和4名台湾居民在事件中不幸遇难。中国驻菲律宾大使馆已向菲警方和涉事酒店方面表达关切，请其加快事件调查进展，及时向中方通报情况，并为有关人员家属处理后事提供便利与协助。
